Home and belonging seem like the same thing… until they don’t.
In a region where more and more people face homelessness, we might learn as much from each other about why home and belonging are different experiences, rather than how they’re the same. What (or who) can we belong to that isn’t home? What is a home where we don’t belong? How can we learn from people in our community who experience these things differently from us?
Explore these questions and enjoy the wonder of the community classroom at this year’s Burnaby Festival of Learning, where people throughout Burnaby have put together learning opportunities about home and belonging for you to experience.
