Racing Readers

Racing Readers puts F-U-N in learning! Interactive games, activities, and exercises are aimed to improve physical activity, literacy skills, numeracy skills, and social/emotional well-being.

Students will be lead through the program by university and adult mentors who will foster companionship, support, discipline, and learning. Throughout the session, children will participate in physical activities, reading, writing, and numeracy exercises. At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to celebrate their progress and success in both the physical and literacy aspects of the program.

This program is designed for children in grades 2-5 (age 6-11). Please be aware that physical exercise is involved. If your child is below or above the age range and would like to sign up, please email tdulku@sfu.ca first before signing up.

Registration is mandatory. Limited spots will be available on a first come, first serve basis on the day of.
